I Have An Xbox 360 And An Lcd Hdtv That Has 1080i Should I Guy The Hd-dvd Add On?
I just want to know if my tv is hd dvd compatible even if it isn’t 1080p like new lcd hdtv’s and if it is worth the 180 bucks to invest on a technology that might be dead in a couple of years.

I would say yes. Along with the purchase of the HD-DVD add on you also receive 5 free HD-DVD movies. You have like 15 to choose from, but 5 free ones would be nice.
And yes, the HD-DVD player will work with your TV and give you the best quality DVD’s.
You can watch HD-DVD on a LCD 1080i TV.
Whether or not you want to spend 180 bucks is up to you.
No. Instead, buy an HD-DVD player that ISN’T the USB HD-DVD player from Microsoft. That thing just doesn’t have the true Dolby-Digital sound, or so I’ve heard. Just buy a DIFFERENT HD-DVD player. You WILL be happy.
I think it would be worth it to buy. I dont think the HD technology will be going away too fast either. It’s gonna be either Bluray or HD and I think HD will win between the two. With your TV it should come in on the 1080 setting and look very sharp regardless. Make sure its through the HDMI to maximize its potential.
no you should wait to see if blue ray or HD wins then decide. It shouldn’t be long after Christmas when we find out which is better
no u shouldnt unless u want to dish out around $80-$100 for the add-on depending on where u buy it. plus the dvd’s themselves cost around $27 even when they first come out because regular dvds are $11-$18 when they first come out
IF YOU LIKE to wacth dvds
listen to music stuff liek that
You should be able to watch hd dvd movies on your tv. As for whether or not u should get the hd dvd add-on for your 360 that all depends. I bought it only because there are certain movies that wont be out on blu-ray for a while like the Matrix series, Transformers, and the Fast and the Furious series.
