I Have Been Looking At Several Samsung Lcd Hdtv For My Computer Room/office And I Have A Question?

I was debating on myself wheather or not to buy a 32” samsung lcd hdtv or a 26” incher. Its the same tv except one is smaller than the other. I really wanted the 32”, but i realized after measuring that it would not fit even if i took off the stand, so i went for the 26′. Both have a native fixed resolution of 720p( common in most lcd tvs) I was wondering that if by going smaller on the screen size would decrease the picture quality of tv as oppose to a bigger tv like a 32′. In other words does a 32′ tv lhave better picture quality than a 26′? Does 720p look better on bigger screens? Also i mostly gonna use the tv for playing games, and using it as a pc monitor. And how would 1080i look a 26′ opposed a 32′. Anything will be very helpful.

  1. The only difference is the picture will be larger on one of the screens(provided they have the same resolution as you say).
This may make the image look more impressive, but each will have the same amount of detail. This could actually make the 26″ TV look sharper than the 32″ as there is a greater pixels/area ratio.
1080i material is no different from 720p when displayed on your television as the TV will convert the incoming signal to its native resolution(about 720p) before displaying it. Because LCD’s do not “refresh” their screens they do not display their image via interlaced methods.
