I Need Advice On Purchasing And Lcd Hdtv Wich I Can Also Use As A Computer Monitor?
are all lcd/hdtv’s comes with this capability. i dont have much space in my room so i would like to purches an lcd/hdtv i can use also as a computer monitor. is there a special name they are known as.?? i am open to sugestions
Look for a tv with a PC input. I use my 40″ Sony Bravia LCD/HDTV and a wireless keyboard and mouse to work on the computer from the comfort of my couch and it works great.
PC-inputs on TV can come in a variety of forms. It really depends on what connections you have on your PC already on when choosing how to connect.
There are 3 main connections you will find.
-vga
-s-video
-DVI.
DVI will give you the best quality but VGA is the most common as it is your standard PC-monitor connection.
You can also run your pc sound through the TV speakers using a stereo jack(headphone) to phono connection.
