I Have Connected By Hdtv To Cinema Surround System (css) Via Hdmi But Sound Not Going Through To Css. Why.?
To obtain sound from HDTV via CSS, I am using a scart lead as sound is not transferring to CSS via a HDMI cable. However, I thought a HDMI cable would transfer picture and sound!!! Where am I going wrong?

You need to use a function key to force the display up to the TV
the key for most laptops is Function (F key is normally of a different colour) then F4,5,6 or 7 depending on your model.
This will turn off your LCD display and force a signal up to your TV
