I’m trying to decide if whether i should get a 32 inch HDTV to use as a computer monitor or just buy a 24 inch LCD computer monitor. Which would be better for gaming with first person shooter type games. Also I would use it to play xbox360 and ps3. Which monitor would I get the best resolution out of?
the native resolution for the HDTV is 1366 by 768 but it isn’t an option from the control panel. I want the best resolution possible. any thoughts??
I have the other cables but none of them plug into my mac, any help?

I have a normal flat screen tv, i am planning to buy a new HDTV or lcd monitor ( depending on which is better) . The only reason i will be using my display unit will be for gaming ( using my xbox 360). Any suggestiions on which is best for gaming?
I am going to college and while my roommate has a 42″ HDTV, I wanted to also have something to play my xbox on because we both tend to play quite a bit. I was wondering whether getting a computer monitor and component cables would be better than getting just a regular 19″ HDTV? Between buying the cables for the computer monitor and the monitor itself, they would relatively be the same price. So what is the better purchase that will look and work better with playing xbox 360? Thanks.
(like average 17″ will display 60fps and discard the rest… well what about a vizio 26 inch hdtv lcd monitor?)
I have a geforce ti4200 video card. I have my lcd monitor hooked up to the dvi output. Could I hook up my hdtv to the vga output at the same time? Does the video card send out a signal through both outputs or just the one that is in use?
