Samsung SyncMaster 2443BWT Widescreen LCD Monitor – 24

Customer Review

The monitor’s specifications produce a beautiful picture. I bought the 2443 to replace a Samsung Syncmaster 214T. My Syncmaster 214t takes about ten minutes to stay on steady. I suspect the capacitors on the power supply’s circuit board need to be changed. I do have plans to repair it. The 2443BWT-TAA arrived via UPS seven days after ordering. The weather was cold at the time I ordered (DEC 1, 2009) so I opted to unpack it and let it sit for a day on my dining room table. I wanted the unit to be at room temperature when I plugged it into an AC outlet. If there was any moisture in the unit, it would have evaporate during that day. I do not think this was necessary, I’m just a little paranoid when it comes to electronics. (I am a certified computer technician.)
