With A Standard Lcd Hdtv, Is There Any Way To Record From The Tv If I Don’t Have Cable?

The tv is a Magnavox 19″ (haven’t bought it yet) & I’m trying to live without cable for a while. Heard that digital shows come in pretty well with antenna. Are there outputs from the Magnavox to plug into a vcr? If not, what does anyone know about this SanDisk digital recorder that records onto memory cards.

  1. TVs don’t have video outputs. You need a VCR or DVD recorder with built in OTA receiver. You could then buy a HD ready TV which has no tuner and feed it from the recorder. SanDisk recorders have too little memory to record HDTV.
